All of us at UMPS CARE Charities and the family of Eric “Coop” Cooper are thrilled to announce that we have set a date for the 1st Annual Eric Cooper Memorial Bowling Tournament: Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Gameday Lanes (formerly Merle Hays Lanes) in Des Moines, Iowa.
Eric was a strong supporter and caring giver to UMPS CARE and honoring him by hosting the first annual bowling tournament in his memory. This tournament is a direct testament to the love Coop felt with his hometown and for giving back and for how much we all loved him.
If you can’t make it to Iowa, you can still show your support through our virtual event, the #Coop56Challenge! Register and create your own rules as to how you and your crew want to honor Coop – Do 56 jumping jacks or run 5.6 miles. Just share your tribute on social media!
Funds from both events support our 2020 Eric Cooper All-Star Scholarship Recipient, Marcus Lo, now a sophomore at the University of Southern California.
