Sam is an active Major League Baseball umpire and Crew Chief who broke into the Big Leagues in 1996 and became a crew chief in 2017. He has worked three World Series, including being behind home plate for Game 7 of the 2016 World Series. Sam is a director at-large with UMPS CARE.
