We are back!
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, UMPS CARE returned to the Legacy Golf Club in Phoenix with a roar for our 16th Annual Golf Classic! The sold-out event, with 180 golfers, was an incredible day on the links with golf, raffle prizes, a live auction and so much more – all for a great cause in UMPS CARE and our programs.

Congrats to our Golf Classic winners: Tara Trzinski, Jason Smith, Chilo Mendoza, Stephen Rodack and MLB Umpire Pat Hoberg! They each won custom-made bats from our friends at OTW Bats. Runners-up are Jackie Byrd, Ronald Hernandez, Dave Busch, Brandon Gordon and retired MLB Umpire Kerwin Danley. The third-place foursome featured Greg Cameron, Randy Mayfield, Dan Fitas, Steve Thompson and retired MLB pitcher Lance Painter.
Our “Most Honest” team was Bob Vega, John Fitzpatrick, Steve Goroff and Mark Murietta.
Closest to the pin (sponsored by Calling For Christ) winner was MLB Umpire Pat Hoberg. Brandon Gordon had the longest drive (men’s) and Kim Parker landed the longest drive on the women’s side. The longest drive contests were sponsored by Mechanics Bank.
