Join us for the UMPS CARE Houston Golf Outing, set for Friday, November 19, 2021, at the beautiful Quail Valley Golf Course & City Centre in Missouri, Texas.

Hosted by MLB Umpire Adrian Johnson, this event is one you do not want to miss – especially since we have been apart for so long! Adrian is a Houston native and the Johnsons make their home outside the city.

Proceeds from this event will support UMPS CARE programs right in Houston. UMPS CARE just launched its Official Leadership Program, which trains teens from underserved communities to be leaders as umpires on and off the field, at the Houston Astros Youth Academy (part of MLB’s RBI programming).

Funds from this tournament also will support deliveries of Build-A-Bear® Workshop furry friends, outfits and more to young patients at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

“It’s always important to give back,” Adrian told The Houston Chronicle. “It’s always fun to visit the kids and those visits always give you a lot of perspective. I might be having a bad day but I am able to step back and realize what’s important.”
