Dear UMPS CARE supporters,

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions as we come to the full realization of what has happened to my hometown of Mayfield, Kentucky. Words cannot fully do justice to the amount of devastation and loss the community and its people have endured. Thankfully, our family and friends are safe, but there is so much work to be done to support this tight-knit town.

On behalf of myself and my wife, Danna, we wanted to thank all of you for the incredible outpouring of love and support. The donations you have made through UMPS CARE have shown the meaning of what this organization is all about – that helping people truly is an easy call.

Together, we have raised more than $37,000, and all of the proceeds from this effort will go to the Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund We can assure you that the good people that manage Mayfield and Graves County will rebuild an even better place to live and your support will be visible in the years to come.

*** The UMPS CARE fund is now closed but you can donate directly to the Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund directly ***

What we are so proud of is that our efforts were recognized by Major League Baseball, which has donated $100,000 toward the communities impacted by the tornadoes – $10,000 of which is being added to our own UMPS CARE fund.

Baseball is truly a family, and we are proud to be a part of this family.

Thanks again to everyone who made a donation and offered a helping hand. We are forever grateful for your kindness and generosity.
