UMPS CARE is hosting a bowling tournament in memory of MLB Umpire Eric Cooper in his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. The tournament will raise funds to support the 2020 Eric Cooper All-Star Scholarship recipient – Marcus Lo, who was adopted later in life and is scheduled to graduate with BOTH his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the Spring of 2024 from the University of Southern California. MLB umpire Gabe Morales and the Cooper family have served as Marcus’ mentors throughout his college journey.
