While we are excited about starting off the new year we wanted to share all of the great milestones we reached in 2018!
- UMPS CARE provided 600 foster kids, at-risk youth, children battling critical illness and military families game tickets and once-in-a-lifetime on-the-field experiences at ballparks across the country and in Canada
- Major League Baseball Umpires visited more than 1,550 children battling critical illnesses and delivering Build-A-Bear Workshop experiences at hospital visits in the United States and Canada. We surpassed our goal of raising enough funds for our 100 Build-A-Bear workshop experiences for 2019!
- Our All-Star College Scholarship Program provided nearly $40K to former foster youth adopted later in life to achieve their college dreams. Our umpires not only provide financial resources but also serve as mentors for guidance to our scholarship winners.
In 2019, we plan to do all that and more! We are expanding our Blue Ticket Program to all of the Triple-A markets this season! We are able to do all of this because of YOUR support. Thank you for all you do and looking forward to playing ball!
